following yesterday’s downtime,
invitation feature seems to be changed.
yahoo has been finally removed from the webmail list.(yahoo id’s other then that of .com domain were facing problems from a few days in importing contacts)
now gmail contact fething code seems to be in some problem
after giving username and password for gmail the script correctly list the number of potiencial connections but is unable to list the list of connections.
i have tried this with only my gmail id coz i have only gmail id’s don’t know about other web mails may be they might also be having simmiar problems
i am also including a screen shot of the page which is taken after 15 minutes of submission of form
it is correctly displaying the no of new connection possible but is unable to show its list
There is no problem with computer(3GHz, 512MB ram) and the connection (300Kbps)
Linkedin :- the most popular professional networking / link / reputation building site is down for maintenance
There were a lot of small changes going on in linkedin in recent past and now in my opinion they are looking for a complete revamp.
After a day full of searching for a better software and specially a plugin for firefox my search boiled down to 3-4 options
1) scribefire a.k.a. Performing
2) Deep Sender
3) JustBlogit
4) Post2Blog
all the above were firefox extension with an exception if POST2BLOG as it was a software + extension for firefox.
tried all 4 but ended with the same error, login failed.
When looking at advance setting options i finally was able to get post2blog going as it has a multitude of options for wordpress blog and mine started working when i selected wordpress free public system
So finally i will be able to speak more and get the ball rolling.
